Not only were the Affleck brothers born in the same month, they were born on the same day — albeit some years apart. Ben and Casey are both accomplished Hollywood personas on their own, but their career highlights reside in their mutual collaborations: the pair starred together in “Good Will Hunting” alongside Matt Damon, and Ben made his directorial debut with “Gone Baby Gone,” a Boston-set crime drama starring younger brother Casey.
Ben’s already proven himself a highly capable director, while Casey’s performance in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” proved his merit as an actor. How cool would it be to see them switch roles for a film project?

Casey Affleck On “Killer Inside Me“ Movie Set

Affleck stars as Lou Ford, a Texas deputy sheriff who battles a psychotic urge to kill. The movie also stars Jessica Alba as a prostitute, Kate Hudson as the sheriff’s girlfriend and Simon Baker, who portrays the lawyer assigned to the case.
It’s a re-make of the 1976 movie starring Stacey Keach and is based on the book by Jim Thompson, an author from Anadarko.
Parts of the movie have also been shot in Oklahoma City and Guthrie.
Affleck has been in several movies, including the very popular Oceans Eleven, Oceans Twelve and Oceans Thirteen movies with George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. He’s also appeared in Gone Baby Gone, Drowning Mona and Goodwill Hunting.
Casey is also the brother of movie star Ben Affleck and the brother in law of Joaquin Phoenix, who has appeared in such movies as Walk The Line, Gladiator, Ladder 49, Hotel Rwanda and The Village.

Forget the VIP section at Tao, the cabanas XS and the dining rooms at N9NE Steakhouse, Simon and Nove Italiano: The hottest spot for stargazing Thursday will be the Amazon Ballroom at the Rio.
That is where a range of A-list stars will take to the tables for the third-annual Ante Up for Africa charity poker tournament.
Matt Damon, Ben and Casey Affleck, Mekhi Phifer, Jason Alexander, Charles Barkley, Hank Azaria, Brad Garrett, Reggie Miller and Sarah Silverman are among those confirmed for the event.
Herschel Walker, Marlon Wayans, Kenny Smith and Montel Williams have also promised to attend.
Meanwhile, poker pros Howard Lederer, Andy Bloch, Erik Seidel and Phil Hellmuth will also take part.
World Series of Poker ace Annie Duke and actor Don Cheadle are two of the co-founders behind the tournament, which helps support humanitarian causes in Darfur and Sudan. Continue…
